Take Back Chicago, is a coalition of about 20 grassroot neighborhood organizations that met on November 11, 2014 at 77 W. Washington. One week after the State of Illinois election, these neighborhood organizations mean to keep up the pressure on, increasing the minimum wage and decreasing corporate influence in Chicago politics. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuelle is running for re-election in February 2015. Rahmbo is not fondly remembered for his role in the closing of 50 Chicago Public Schools in 2014.
